You will receive a personal invitation by email with detailed instructions for joining an on-line meeting. We will use the free Zoom video conferencing program so you do not need to purchase any software to attend. If you need assistance, contact any club officer.
You will need a personal computer with a video camera and microphone. Newer laptops today have the camera and microphone built-in. You can also use a tablet or cell phone by installing the Zoom application. If your desktop computer does not have a camera or microphone, you can add them. Look on Amazon for a USB camera with built-in mic.
When you are invited to a Zoom meeting, it doesn't cost you anything and you don't need to add any software to your computer. You use your web browser just like you are on the Internet. The first time you join a Zoom meeting, a small program will be installed on your computer. Just follow the on screen prompts. You only need to do this once.
You will receive a Zoom invitation by email with an Internet address and a password along with the date and time of the meeting. Don't lose your invitation or you will miss your meeting! A few minutes before the scheduled time, enter the Internet address in your browser. Your meeting Host will let you join the meeting.
Of course, help is available from your Monaco America Officers. It's a good idea to try Zoom before the scheduled meeting just to be sure things are working smoothly. Call Bert Garcia at 304-780-3838 to arrange a one-on-one Zoom conference and he will walk you through the setup. See you on Zoom!
