General: The Monaco America website was established October 2009 for use by the members of Monaco America.  Monaco America is an international club for the owners of motorized and towable recreational vehicles. Monaco America is a chapter of the Family Recreational Vehicle Association. Although the website is open to the general public to read, some portions of this website may be restricted to members only and require a password.

Privacy: Your privacy is of great concern to Monaco America. We will not sell or give your personal information to anyone without your permission. We will remove any personal information appearing on our website immediately upon your request. Contact the webmaster or any of the Monaco America officers to have your personal information removed. Points of contact are listed on the website and below in this policy statement.

Personal Information We Collect: We collect your name and email address when you choose to use our Contact page to send us a message.  We use your name and email address to respond to your message. We collect your name, mailing address and email address when you choose to purchase an item from the club. We use this information to complete the sale.

Personal Information We Retain About Members: We keep the personal information about our membership to allow us to conduct the daily functions of Monaco America. The personal information we keep includes your name, address, email address, and telephone number. We keep photographs of individuals for display on our website.

Personal Information We Retain About Non-Members: We do not keep personal information about non-members except as it is contained in an email you may choose to send to us. The personal information you may choose to send us is your name and email address. All emails are retained for a minimum of two years before they are destroyed. 

Media Content:  This website is the property of Monaco America.  The website content is protected by copyright; however, limited portions of the website may be reproduced for educational use if Monaco America is identified as the source.  You may not link to any portion of the website other than the Home page.  The content of Facebook is posted by the users. If you find offensive content on the Monaco America website, immediately notify the webmaster.  

Rules for Media Content:  All media content should be friendly and respectful.  You may not attack other people or organizations or use foul language.  Postings about religion, politics or subjects not directly concerned with RVing may be removed without warning. Individuals who violate this policy will be removed from our social media without warning.  All postings of a commercial nature will be removed.  Members may post notices of RV related items for sale that may be of interest to Monaco America members on Facebook.  Do not post commercial advertisements or items for sale in quantity.  The social media moderators have the authority to remove content or members without warning.

Social Media:  Monaco America Social Media is now present and available to members as a way to communicate with members, between members, and to attract like minded RVer’s who may wish to join the Monaco America club.  It is not the intention of Monaco America to become a monetized site with advertisements, and do not allow anyone to use information contained within the social media site to financially benefit either themselves or others.

Privacy on Monaco America sponsored Social Media:  You must identify yourself on our social media with your first and last name.  Anonymous postings or nicknames are not permitted on our social media.  Monaco America Social Media participation will be vetted and approved by the site administrators. 

Social Media Content:  The content of media services , such as Facebook, should be focused on subjects of interest to our membership.  The content is posted by authorized users.  If you find offensive content on any Monaco America sponsored social media, immediately notify the administrators of the site.  Postings shall not include any personal information.  Site moderators will have the ability to monitor, view, and delete any posting that does not follow the site rules.  Site rules will be listed on the particular site, and members will agree to abide by those rules before allowed site access and the ability to post.

Website Points of Contact: The webmaster is listed at the bottom of the Home page. You may contact the webmaster using the Contact tab found on the navigation bar of the Home page. The contact information for the current officers of Monaco America is listed on the About page of the website. You may send an email to webmaster@monacoamerica.com to contact any officer in Monaco America.

Final Word: Your privacy is important to us. We will not give or sell your personal information to anyone without your permission. We will remove your personal information from the website immediately upon your request.
