General: The Monaco America website was established October 2009 for use by the members of Monaco America. Monaco America is an international club for the owners of motorized and towable recreational vehicles. Monaco America is a chapter of the Family Recreational Vehicle Association. Although the website is open to the general public to read, some portions of this website are restricted to members only and will require a password to read.

Privacy: Your privacy is of great concern to Monaco America. We will not sell or give your personal information to anyone without your permission. We will remove any personal information appearing on our website immediately upon your request. Contact the Monaco America webmaster or any Monaco America officers to have your personal information removed. Points of contact are listed on the website and below in this policy statement.

Personal Information We Collect: We collect your name and email address when you choose to use our Contact page to send us a message. We use your name and email address to respond to your message. We collect your name, mailing address and email address when you choose to purchase an item from the club. We use this information to complete the sale.

Personal Information We Retain About Members: We keep personal information about our membership to allow us to conduct the daily functions of Monaco America. The personal information we keep includes your name, address, email addresses, and telephone numbers. We keep photographs of individuals for display on our website.

Personal Information We Retain About Non-Members: We do not retain personal information about non-members except as it is contained in an email you may choose to send to us. The personal information you may choose to send us is your name and email address. All emails are retained for a minimum of six years before they are destroyed. 

Media Content: This website is the property of Monaco America. The website content is protected by copyright; however, limited portions of the website may be reproduced for educational use if Monaco America is identified as the source. You may not link to any portion of the website other than the Home page. The content of Facebook or other media about Monaco America is posted by the users. If you find offensive content on any media that refers to Monaco America, immediately notify the Monaco America webmaster.  

Rules for Media Content: All media content should be friendly and respectful.  You may not attack other people or organizations or use foul language. Postings about religion, politics or subjects not directly concerned with RVing will be removed without warning. Individuals who violate this policy will be removed from our social media without warning. All postings of a commercial nature will be removed without warning.  Members may post notices of their personal RV related items for sale that may be of interest to Monaco America members on Facebook or other media. Do not post commercial advertisements or items for sale in quantity on media that refers to Monaco America. The social media moderators have the authority to remove content or members without warning.

Social Media: Monaco America Social Media, such as Facebook, is now present and available to members as a way to communicate with members, between members, and to attract like minded RVer’s who may wish to join Monaco America. It is not the intention of Monaco America to become a monetized site with advertisements, and we do not allow anyone to use information contained within the social media site to financially benefit either themselves or others. If you find commercial content on any media that refers to Monaco America, immediately notify the Monaco America webmaster.  

Privacy on Monaco America sponsored Social Media: You must identify yourself on our social media with your first and last name.  Anonymous postings or nicknames are not permitted on our social media. Monaco America Social Media participation will be vetted and approved by the social media moderators. 

Social Media Content: The content of social media services, such as Facebook, should be focused on subjects of interest to our membership. The content is posted by authorized users. If you find offensive content on any Monaco America sponsored social media, immediately notify the administrators of the site or the Monaco America webmaster. Postings shall not include any personal information other than your first and last name. Site moderators will have the ability to monitor, view, and delete any posting that does not follow the site rules.  Site rules will be listed on the particular site, and members will agree to abide by those rules before allowed site access and the ability to post.

Website Points of Contact: The Monaco America webmaster is listed at the bottom of the Home page. You may contact the webmaster using the Contact tab found on the navigation bar of the Home page. The  current officers of Monaco America are listed on the About page of the website. You may send an email to webmaster@monacoamerica.com to contact any officer in Monaco America.

Final Word: Your privacy is important to us. We will not give or sell your personal information to anyone without your permission. We will remove your personal information from the website immediately upon your request.
