The Spring 2023 Rally will be on April 30 through May 4, 2023 at the Oakwood RV Resort in Fredericksburg, Texas.  The rally fee includes 5 nights camping (Sun., Mon., Tues., Wed., Thurs.) with 50-amp full hookups; Sunday night Potluck Dinner, 3 breakfasts and 3 evening meals, and more.  

The Oakwood RV Resort is located at 78 FM 2093, Fredericksburg, TX 78624.  The telephone number is (830) 997-9817.  The campground website is at https://oakwoodrvresort.com/.   DO NOT call the campground about site numbers, early or late arrivals, or parking requests.  All such requests must go to the Rally Master, Ron Van Arsdall.

April 30 is an arrival day, and May 4 is the last day of rally activities.  May 5 is a departure day.  Early arrivals before April 30 or late departures after May 5 must be noted on your registration form.  If you have a disability or want to have a site near a friend, note this on your registration form or contact the Rally Master.  DO NOT call the campground directly for early arrival or late departure days or for parking requests.  All reservations will be handled by the Rally Master, Ron Van Arsdall.  You only pay for early arrival or late departure nights since the club pays for the five rally nights, April 30 and May 1-4.

There is a two week cancellation notice required to Monaco America.  Read the cancellation policy.  Questions about the rally should be addresses to the Rally Master, Ron Van Arsdall, 626-945-9284 or email ronv731826@aol.com.  You do not need to be a member of Monaco America to attend our rally.  We welcome all types and brands of RVs in good standing with FMCA.

The registration deadline is April 10, 2023.

The following information was sent to all members by email.  Please read this information carefully as it contains important information about how campground reservations will be handled:

In order to eliminate some of the issues we had at the Fall 2022 Rally, we will be doing the registration process for the RV park a little bit different for the Spring 2023 Rally in Fredericksburg, Texas. On your registration form you will provide your name, phone number, email, rig length, and number of slides. This information will then be passed along to the Oakwood RV Resort. If you have any other additional requirements, such as a disability or wanting to park with specific other individuals, or want to come early or leave late, we ask that you identify that information by making a separate note on the registration form or by contacting your Rally Master, Ron Van Arsdall, at (626) 945-9284 or ronvanarsdall@gmail.com. Please DO NOT CALL the RV park directly. 

There will be no assignment of sites ahead of time. The RV park will have sufficient sites for us to use. We will take the list as we get closer to the rally date, and lock in site assignments two weeks before the rally date.   

This is what our contract with the RV park states:  "One month prior to the event, the final reservation list will be sent to the Oakwood RV Resort with member name, member phone number, rig length and member email address. Any guests having additional days of stay must be included with the final reservation list. Oakwood will contact those individual members at that time for full payment of the extra amount and we will make places for them in sites at that time. Because rallies are different from regular guest reservations, we ask that all communication from Monaco America members be directed to the Rally Master, and the Rally Master and Oakwood RV Resort will discuss issues. This will provide one point of contact for everyone and help prevent miscommunication. The sites may change prior to the event so site numbers will not be available until the day of the rally; however, the Rally Master will receive the list two weeks in advance as a review. Again, NO SITES ASSIGNMENTS ARE GUARANTEED. At two weeks prior to the rally, reservations will be closed, and any unused sites will be released and no refunds will be given." 

For those who might want to arrive early or stay late at the Oakwood RV Resort, you are welcome to do so. Monaco America will be picking up the tab for the five nights starting April 30 through May 4, and we will be leaving the park on May 5. The cost of a full hookup site will be $56.70 for any days outside of the rally.
